The CGA Certified Client Program was created to provide customers with
the assurance that an application can access the CGA correctly. This
ensures CGA users and administrators can confidently implement a wide range of
client applications that suit their mission requirements.
In theory, any client that supports one or more of the standard CGA
access methods can access the CGA; however, not all client applications fully
implement the APIs specifications. Standard CGA access methods include
WMS, KML, SOAP, REST, Geodatabase and file sharing.
When verifying the interoperability between the CGA and the client
application, the CGA team conducts a series of standardized tests. If the
client application passes these tests, it becomes a certified client.
