1. What is the CGA?
The CJMTK Geospatial Appliance (CGA) by Northrop Grumman provides
effective, user friendly access to worldwide coverage of NGA geospatial
products. The tool is pre-loaded with RPF, VPF, and DTED in
application-ready formats to support your mission. The CGA optimizes
access to geospatial data through a set of innovative tools that are
transparent to the user. Data management and system administration are
built in a maintenance package that includes frequent automatic updates
of National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) data (if such data is included in the model purchased) and CGA software.
In addition, the CGA hardware itself is refreshed every three
maintenance years. The CGA rack mount and ruggedized systems are easy to
install, operate, and maintain, whether in the office or deployed in the
field. The CGA is being accredited to operate on JWICS, SIPRNet, and
NIPRNet networks.

8. Why do I want to purchase the CGA?
The logistics of creating and maintaining application ready data with

specialized expertise. The CGA offers a high quality solution at a lower
cost for both initial implementation and maintenance through a
standardized process and use of COTS. The CGA addresses initial data
population, maintenance, security accreditation, and hardware
configuration issues that are associated with building such an
implementation.
